Part 1 of New Encaustic Diptych by Colorado Contemporary Artist, Susan M. GIbbons

This is the first in the diptych I'm creating experimenting with horizontal and vertical orientations.  An encaustic on cradled board, this 20"x20" panel has golds, blacks, browns, and whites within it.  Contemplating the concept of Interstice (the space in between), I'm adding color to the bands to see what happens when it is added.  Be on the look out for the second in the diptych!
