"Exposed" Encaustic and Found Object on Thai Bird's Nest Paper 22 1/2" x 7 1/4" $800 This piece shows the exposed found object that was originally hidden within the torn paper covering it, hence the title.  Thinking of the concept of hidden and revealed, the burnt metal was meant to be seen and not concealed.  The colors of terra cotta and brown compliment the hues of the object.
