Adam Series Studies: VII, VIII, IX

Encaustic and Sand on Cradled Board

8: x 8" x 1.5"

$300 each

The third color within the Adam Series Studies, this work depicts the stirring of creation based on the Book of Genesis when God created Adam.  The series incorporates the basic colors of the human skin: red, black, yellow, brown, and white (pink/peach) to reflect the myriad hues of the peoples of the world.  Dirt and sand are also used within each piece to symbolize the union between God, humans, and the earth.
