These studies in the Adam Series features pigments that represent the dark black/brown skin tones. Inspired by the Book of Genesis with the creation of Adam, these pieces incorporate dirt to reflect the union of God, humans, and the earth.  The different colors of skin are represented in the series: red, black, yellow, brown, and white (pink/peach).  The movement in the piece depicts the stirring of creation.
